New Program : Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering
The Ph.D. program in Civil and Environmental Engineering provides students with an unparalleled opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research alongside world-class faculty at an R1 institution.
This immersive experience ensures exposure to the latest advancements in the field and offers extensive professional development, preparing graduates for successful careers in both industry and academia.
Four specialized fields of study are provided within the program, which correlate directly with the School of CEIE’s core areas of research and instruction:
1) Environmental Engineering
2) Geotechnical Engineering
3) Structural Engineering
4) Water Resources Engineering
“Our ASCE student chapter competed in the ASCE Mid-America Student Symposium at Lincoln, Nebraska, in collaboration with Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute (UESI) Surveying and placed First overall.
Our team will participate in the 2025 ASCE UESI Surveying Society-wide Competition Finals. June 27-29, 2025, in San Luis Obispo, California.
